We provide free support for our community to  make good waste practices normal in the Western Suburbs of Perth. This includes rethinking waste, reducing and recycling things more often.  We work with our Member Councils and their communities.

Starting Wednesday 10 May 2017

Includes five sessions over three weeks on:

  • Tours of waste facilities and community gardens
  • Demonstrations of reusing organics including worm farming and composting
  • Green cleaning ideas
  • Zero waste living support
  • Minimising food waste
  • The ‘big picture’ of waste management in Perth and your local council
  • Safe ways to recycle or dispose of difficult items like electronic waste, batteries, fluoros and chemicals
