Plastic Unwrapped: public talk, demo & morning tea on Sat 4 July

Wednesday 17th of June 2015

Plastic Unwrapped: tips, ideas and inspiration for living plastic-free from local blogger, author and local plastic-free living enthusiast Lindsay Miles from Treading My Own Path.  Includes an inspiring talk by Lindsay, a demonstration on how to make a plastic free alternative to clingfilm using beeswax and a delicious morning tea from the Subi Farmers Market.

Lindsay is an active member of our Earth Carers network and has been participating in Plastic Free July since 2012. She writes “Plastic-free living was where it all began for me. That decision, made over three years ago, changed so many things about the way I live my life…and all for the better! I’ve ditched the junk food, removed the chemicals from my home, I eat better, support local businesses, met some great (and super inspiring) people and waste a whole lot less!” Learn more about Lindsays plastic-free journey which led her to write the e-book That's a Wrap'. Come and learn and be inspired to make this a Plastic Free July.
