Household batteries
There are a number of convenient public places including libraries, council offices and retail facilities in Perth’s western suburbs where residents can recycle their used household batteries:

We run a comprehensive Household Battery Recycling Program and also a Schools' Battery Recycling Program.

Old mobile phones, chargers and accessories can be dropped off at most Telstra stores across Perth. You can also check Mobile Muster's website for a huge list of drop off locations around Perth. They can also be dropped off here:

Printer cartridges
Printer cartridges can be recycled at most post offices and Harvey Norman stores. Check here for locations.

Other recyclables
The JFR (Jim) McGeough Resource Recovery Facility offers free recycling to residents for the following items:
- Batteries (all batteries including car and household)
- Clothing
- Electronic waste (computers, televisions, printers)
- Fluorescent globes and tubes
- Hazardous waste (eg aerosols, engine fluids, poisons, pesticides, pool chemicals, smoke detectors. Some of these items are recyclable; others will be disposed of safely. Up to 20kg/20L per visit) Details here
