What number plastic does my Council accept for recycling?
Plastics are separated for recycling based on a number code identifying the type of plastic used in the product. Many recyclable plastics will have a recycling logo with a number from 1 - 7 stamped inside or underneath. Not all Councils accept all numbers of plastic for recycling, check your council waste guide to find out what is recycled in your area. The table below shows the situation as of August 2015.
Town of Cottesloe | 1,2,3,5 (considering 1-7) |
Town of Claremont | 1-7 |
Town of Mosman Park | 1-7 |
Shire of Peppermint Grove | 1-7 |
City of Subiaco | 1-7 |
