Full lives, empty bins
We provide support for our community to make good waste practices normal in the Western Suburbs of Perth. This includes rethinking waste, reducing and recycling things more often. We work with our Member Councils and their communities.
Earth Carers Course Registrations Open
Find out how to reduce waste in your household plus tours of a waste facility and community garden. The Earth Carers Course is a great waste reduction course giving you skills for life. The course starts 3rd October and runs over 5 sessions. To find out more about the program click here.
Make sure your recycling is clean and help improve kerbside recycling.
In WA our recycling centres are ready and able to take your recyclables. As councils nationwide adjust to China's recycling restrictions, it is important that we all do our bit and make sure we continue recycling. Download our Recycling Matters fact sheet for more information.
So what can you do to help? Keep contaminants out of the recycle bin, if you are unsure about what to put in your bin then check with your local council. Don't bag your recyclables - keep it loose. Clean and rinse your recyclables before putting it loose in your bin.
